Default DSLR Question

I got a new Nikon D3200 for Christmas. I bought a high end 32gig SD card. The camera is great but when I take video and transfer it to the computer, it is choppy. When I play it back on the camera everything looks good.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It could be that your computer isn't fast enough to decode the video, or you don't have the proper codec installed.

Trying playing it with VLC to rule out the latter: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
