A charity that our office supports and volunteers at has found itself with the opportunity to win some cash in a social media vote-off.
The charity - Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids helps support children around Calgary that would otherwise go without lunches, and families who need a hand with groceries.
The lunches are made by volunteers each day, and then distributed to numerous school's around the city. Its a great organization, and it provides a tangible benefit to kids who might otherwise go without.
The voting goes until November 30, and the charity with the most votes will recieve $8,000. To put it in perspective, we created ~400 lunches this morning, and the cost for each lunch is $1. $8,000 would go a long way.
You can help out by clicking the link, and hitting the vote button for Brown Bagging. As far as I understand, you can vote once per day. Currently BB4CK is in third place, but I've seen what CP can do. Let's Wannamaker this.
