Just back from Escort for a Laser Replacement (May 29th) and software update, a as new Escort Passport 9500IX
I'm going to upgrade to a built in, so this is a great opportunity to get into this top of the line detector for considerably less than new, but still have the warranty.

The new Escort Passport 9500 Series is the first Escort detectors that comes with GPS capabilities. Both Passport 9500i and 9500ix provide long-range detection against all radar and laser guns in Canada and the US. Passport 9500ix is the first Escort radar detector with SiRFstar III GPS chipset integrated, allowing users to block false alerts from automatic door openers, a common issue for all radar detectors in the market.

Not trying to be a dink, but I've been looking for an Escort for a while and was probably just going to get one down in the States, so when I saw one local it got my interest.
