Default Replacement parts for Toyota cars?

I own a 2007 Toyota Yaris, and it was in a fender bender. I wanted to know if anyone can help me find a place that would supply me with a new front fender at a affordable price. Any suggestions you have would be welcome!

Can't help you out, but this seems like the place to put this out there. I need the plastic panel for the drivers-side back seat door of a 2001 Toyota Rav 4. If anybody knows of one available, let me know.

Have you called the dealer?

Hard to imagine a fender for that thing is more than $100.

I wouldn't go with the dealer. They wanted to charge me $140 for a piece of plastic, not including installation.

Best option, find a wrecker part in good condition already in your colour. Good option, go to an auto body supply and get a fender and have it painted by a small shop or do it yourself. Bad option, get the part from the dealer and go to your average paint shop and get taken to the cleaners.

Pro Body Parts, they sell good after market body parts. I got a bumper from there that fit really well. Make sure you get it painted and installed by a professional.

Duderooski, I've bought many a part from rockauto.ca. Not sure if they supply imports but for domestic they are where it's at.

Toyota told me i can get my windshield replaced by them for $700. That's a refurb though. New is $1400. Went to crystal glass and got it done for $300.

How do you even purchase a refurbished window? Isn't the whole point of replacing a windshield to get one without cracks? Presumably, a used window would have damage to it already...

Not being a dick, I just don't understand it.

My best guess on the refurbished glass is that since glass is really a liquid, you can melt glass and add more "glass" to it to repair it. If you burn the area with the crack enough, it should smooth/even out.

But that's just my very uneducated guess.

Also, looking for parts for my Toyota. Sorry to hijack the thread a little, but the plastic pumper cover on my car is scratched and torn in one place. I can buy a new one for $300.00 or so and hopefully get it repainted.

Any ideas on what the cost for repair of a plastic bumper plate might be, or if that's even possible?

i'd still call the dealer to get a price, this is a Yaris - not a Rolls Royce.

sometimes aftermarket sheet metal does not always fit very well, or the bolt holes are off.

It only costs you about 3 minutes to get a price.

edit: here is something i googled - price is $140. I have no idea where this place is though.

Sounds like a pointless waste of three minutes. Never in the history of mankind has the dealer been cheaper for anything.

Don't ask me, ask Toyota. That's what they said.
