Default Anyone know a good mechanic?

Hey CP!

Our 1997 Mazda B4000, identical to the Ford Ranger, needs major repairs:

New rear right leaf spring (shop said both sides should be replaced) = $1100

New front brakes + Hub Kits on both sides on the front + New spindle on passenger side = $1500

So we are looking at $2600 quoted for total repairs. Does anyone know a good mechanic/shop that might be able to make a better offer?

Thanks!

The new goggles also do nothing.

I've tried Auto Experts a few times now after a few recommendations for them from previous threads and have been pretty happy with them, they seem fair and honest.

The mechanic for this truck is you!
Go to "pick a part" or whatever and spend about $100.00 for the parts, google the install instructions, borrow the tools if needed and do it yourself.

Otherwise your wasting good money on a truck worth about $1000.00
