Sens fall in a shootout to Tampa. MA Fleury was tired after yesterday's game so I played McBackup today and the result is no surprise. Tampa's big line did the damage in the 3rd, scoring 3 goals. Back at it tomorrow with our 3rd game in 3 days.

Happy to be 2-0 but badly outplayed in this one - Schneider has done well so far...perhaps I don't need a better #1.

Once again the Flames have lots of try but no finish. Lose in OT to a lacklustre Avs team.

Islanders and Sound Tigers start off on the right foot with opening day wins. Kunitz led the way with a 2G 3P last night while Zigomanis still trying to prove he could be at least a 4th liner on the big club copies Kunitz's performance tonight.

Wow what a game from the second line. While Zubrus was out injured in preseason, I was forced to play Fiddler with Kelly and Kovalev. Thankfully they found some chemistry and its carried over into the reg season. Kovalev had 4 points, Kelly and Fiddler both had 3 and they all finished +4.
