Ducks bring in Lidstrom
We had been after him for a couple days now. We couldn't get him from Minnesota but once he was moved to Columbus a deal was made. Lidstrom is now a member of the Anaheim Ducks and brings a solid veteran presence to a lead squad full of youngsters.
To the Ducks:

4 mill in cap (1 mill extra to replace Halpern)
To the Jackets:
Jeff Schultz
Joel Armia
Jeff Halpern
The Ducks now have a D core consisting of Lidstrom, Weber, Doughty, Letang and Giordano. The 6th member is currently undecided. We definitely will be looking to add a top 6 fwd or 2 in the next couple weeks.
Thanks to the Jackets for the deal, this one took maybe 5 minutes to make (would have been faster if MJK isn't so slow with his phone).
