Maybe not the most original premise, but I like the style so far. I love alien flicks, and this one seems to be gritty and very realistic... ala 28 weeks and District 9.
I dunno I think it looks sick.

I'll take Independence Day over Transformers 2 any day of the week. At least ID had a few actors in it I actually like (aside from Bill Pullman).
As for this one the only thing for certain is that Michelle Rodriguez will die in it. But, the director has never made anything decent, so I expect it to suck.
Looks awesome. Any movie showing aliens owning the sh1t out of earth is awesome in my books. Looks like the also tackle the whole falling debris thing a lot better than ID4..lol. That always bugged me about that movie.

That trailer is pretty sick. I've seen it a few time and am really pumped for this movie. No, the premise has been done to death, but this one looks different. It looks as realistic as an alien invasion movie could be. You actually have army guys fighting the alien ships. You don't have drunk crop dusters or Presidents in F-16 fighter planes like you did in Independance Day.
I've got high hopes for this one. It doesn't look like your average alien movie.
