Default Where to get Coveralls cleaned in calgary?

Anyone know where in Calgary you can get coveralls cleaned for less than the 18 dollars a pair that Tower Cleaners charges?

Also anyone looking for a C level goalie; I have lots of time on my hands these days.

Probably any other dry cleaner should be less then 18...!. I think we take ours in for around $12 a pair but that's in Strathmore.

No idea about costs for specific items but when I have strange stuff to clean i normally take it to Rosedale Cleaners on 16th.

Based on your avatar, it looks like you might be from Saskatchewan originally? You're probably still getting used to the culture of Calgary and Alberta. That's cool. Well here in Calgary, a lot of us use a pretty cool invention called, a washing machine. They're pretty useful. I've included a picture below...

I used to take mine to the self serve hi pressure car washes when I had my brief oilpatch stint. I'd hang em on the floormat hooks, and blast the crap out of them using the soap setting (just make sure the care wash has hot water). I would spend 4 bucks soaping, and 2 bucks rising per pair, and they came out pretty damn clean. Took a couple days to dry sometime though.

The shop I used to work at used Cintas. They would come and pick up our coveralls and just charge us $2-$3 per pair to clean but we also had about 15 guys in that shop. If its just yourself I would get a price from another dry cleaners or do them yourself in a Laundromat.

If they are a Nomex or FR coverall DO NOT used fabric softener, it wont hurt the FR qualities but it will cause lint to stick to the coveralls making you a 2 legged wick in a flash fire.

Tried what looks like an independant in West Srings; $22 per pair. GP is like $4 dollars anywhere you go.

I guess the question is- how dirty are they; and what kind of dirt?

Mine are ususally just plain dirt from working on the car in the garage; so I just go to a laundrymat. Most have a machine dedicated to exceptionally dirty clothes.

If they're fire ######ant, some of them can't be washed in a washing machine. Also, not sure if you've ever washed a nasty pair of coveralls in your own washing machine. It took me 2 weeks to get all the grease and pentane out last time I did. Never again.

But as ken said, if its just from working in the garage/around the house, hit a laundromat.
