Probably not the right thread for this, but why does it seem like Canadian skiers do well every year except for Olympic years?

No kidding. And it's too bad that Canadians don't really care about most world-level events that are not the Olympics. I admit I had no idea it was going on this week. This is a great accomplishment though.

I caught a replay of the run and he was really solid in the bottom half of that course. He was actually behind the leader on the top half, but made up a fair bit of time on the bottom half of the course.

This is fantastic news. Especially, when you consider what our ski programme was like just a few years where we just started again from square 1.
