Yeah i agree hes defiantely not trying to hurt him. But i feel like if you hit the standing leg late like that anywhere else on the field from open play thats a sending off

Thats....about as good an explanation as I can think of. Under other circumstances if that ball doesnt go in Van De Ven's night is done.

lol, two hands in the back to push a guy out of the way and Romero gets the card. It’s basically farcical.

Look, I get that the red could’ve gone either way, and sure maybe Liverpool was always going to win, but some of this is just plain garbage.

The Van de Ven tackle was worse than the Simons tackle IMO.

In fairness, Romero only got the card for complaining, but I see where you're coming from. Also...Spurs are lucky they still have 10 men...Van de Ven should probably be hitting the showers.

Man...I get it now...Spurs got a lot of cards just for whining. Romero got sent off for whining, an assistant coach got a card for whining, Richarlison just got a card for whining.

So much whining.

Romero barely touched him and there’s no way that warranted a yellow. Great game by Brooks to help Liverpool close that one out though. He really buckled down there, even making sure to card Richarlison after the final whistle.

Well Richarlison probably should have been off already too after grabbing Ekitike’s neck and pushing his face into the ground. Spurs’ players lost their minds today

I’m guessing that Isak tore an ACL on that one and we won’t see him for 9-10 months now.

That might be really good for African players.
