Just realized this was made in jest.

for some context, Wheeler had Howard at #55 among his top 100 drafted prospects a few months ago (Flames had Parekh at #4, Gridin at #73 and Honzek at #74). Prospect tier 5, number 12 among left wingers.

Ultimately, Howard is a player who is always going to have PP utility but will require the right coach, usage and linemates to be the impactful top-six winger I think he’s capable of being at five-on-five. It has been nice, though, over the last two years to see him play with more jump, get to more loose pucks, move his feet to get off the wall and to the slot/net, and be above and supporting more pucks when the other team has possession.

I find this quite comforting. It’s the one constant in a changing world.

I have already seen some comments from Oilers fans about how now Draisaitl finally has a top line winger to play with. Lol.

Will he be as good as, say, Dylan Holloway?

Sounds a lot like that Schremp kid they had back in the day.

I honestly see a 600+ goal scorer in him. And 1300+ points.

Feels like the McGroaty for Yager swap just with guys picked later in the first round instead of the middle. Doubt either player makes an impact in the near future.

I just saw an interview with him in draft day where he told the interviewer he was the best looking guy at the draft and was wearing a US flag belt buckle. Arrogant d***e. Sounds like a great fit for a dressing room that wants to be drama free..
