Tin Star

Produced by Sky Atlantic and Amazon Prime, Tin Star is a contemporary western set in a remote small town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Tin Star was primarily filmed in High River (33 miles south of Calgary), doubling as the fictional town of Little Big Bear.

The series used the studios of the newly opened Calgary Film Centre as general headquarters. The spectacular shots of the Canadian landscape were filmed in the Waterton area in Alberta. The third and final series is set in Liverpool, England.

The Honey I Shrunk the Kids TV show was filmed on the 600-block of Crescent Road, in a house that was knocked down and replaced by a car dealership.

Not sure if it was an ongoing series or just the pilot was filmed there or what. I never actually watched it.

I think only a part of one episode was filmed in High River. The majority of season 1 was filmed in Calgary at different locations including; the old holy cross hospital, Inglewood, Bridgeland, Ogden & Lynnwood, downtown by the old warehouse district, and more. Brokeback Mountain also highly underrated, plus it was filmed during the 04 run and made the director and actors fans of the Flames.

Comeback Season with Ray Liota was another film shot here. I remember watching it on TV one day and I noticed the gray sound wall on 16th Ave NW, then motel village where his character was staying.

Firebird 2015 AD, a post-apocalyptic film that is the worst movie l ever watched, was filmed exclusively in/around Drumheller and was released in 1981.
It is currently streaming on Tubi, though I must advise against

I remember they filmed an episode at Bonkers in Market Mall.

It was a pretty decent show when I was a kid.
