It is interesting how much rotating we are doing. Seems as though Marsh is still figuring out who he wants to play.

Sucks to say but Larin doesn’t deserve the minutes he is getting. Zero confidence in him anymore. Has not produced since the last WC qualifiers. Maybe he makes the WC roster at the expense of Jebbison or Oluwaseyi but Promise should be getting all those minutes in big games at this point.

Dreadful performance tonight. Lucky to get away with a draw.

Miller was great during World Cup Qualifying but his time with the national team should be done. Nelson and Shaffelburg were poor on the wings. Everything in the final third just felt off. Johnston with a poor decision on the equalizer. Not sure how Promise David doesn't see the pitch with his first few appearances.

Hopefully Marsch was drama free up wherever he was sitting.

A bit of a case of Canada guilty of reading their own press clippings too much after the last game. Curacao is a bit bigger in population to the size of Red Deer and surrounding area.

Marsch hopefully kept his head. I admire the passion and intensity he brings to try and change decades of malaise/disrespect regarding the CMNT and CONCACAF (the CSA was never ever going to do it, strongly worded press releases don't cut it) but he can't be a distraction to the team and needs to be in the dugout. His time with this group probably runs out in 14 months so time is valuable.

The goal is to advance while rotating players. 5 points or 7 points or 9 points it doesn't matter. Marsch said in the interview posted above that Canada was gassed in last years Copa America and to win a tournament, players have to be fresh by the end of it.

When you crush the first game 6-0, the 2nd game doesn't really matter, in fact a draw is a favorable result.

Even the 3rd game now doesn't really matter. With Honduras' win in the later game, Canada has qualified for the quarterfinals, unless they lose the last game by 5 goals.
