Also, Milos will take on Taylor Fritz on Wednesday at Queen's Club. Milos will need a repeat serving performance of his opening round to prevail over the American.

Leylah comes back from a set down to advance to the quarter-finals over Golubic in Birmingham. Of note, 5 aces and no double faults in a three set match with a 76% first serve percentage. That new service motion is holding up strong thus far.

Milos loses to Taylor Fritz 7-6 6-4. Just a shaky service game with some uncommon forehand errors from Milos late in set 2 was the pivotal turning point.

This has been the worst week in sports history so far. Small victories matter.

On the one hand, Wimbledon can do whatever they want to with their wildcards, but it's a strange decision not to give one to a former finalist who is in pretty good form of late.

Upset that he beat Norrie at Queens? Seems strange after he just broke the ace record which is a sign that his serve is still world class. Clearly there was politics at play. He's a dangerous player on grass and maybe they didn't want him taking out a seed early in the tournament.

Wimbledon is garbage
But some of this is on Milos. He could have saved his last PR for Wimbledon.

In other grass warm-up tourney action, the Canadian ladies went 1-1. Leylah just won now over Krejcikova in three sets in Eastbourne while Bianca lost to Blinkova in straight sets at the Bad Homburg tourney in Germany.

By the way, Marina Stakusic, Rebecca Marino, and Carol Zhao all have their opening round qualifying matches on Tuesday at Wimbledon.
