White House Plumbers is delightfully absurd. Even though it's a fictional account I can't help but feel this is closer to the truth than anyone should be comfortable with.

HBO/Crave.

Not sure if anyone else is watching, but I am really enjoying Presumed Innocent with Jake Gyllenhaal (the GOAT) on Apple TV, especially episode 2.

I stuck with it to the end. It wound up as a disjointed mess. Too many social issues raised but not explored, and storylines that went nowhere. Basically, the Edmonton of tv shows.

Smoking!

Alcohol!

AIDS!

Men kissing grandpas!

Greed!

Child Sex Trafficking!

Unwanted Pregnancy!

Sewer!

Mixed-race step.children!

White Junkies!

Evil Latinos!

Drunk.Muppets!

Garbage!

And none of it means anything to the story.

Agreed completely felt like one of those shows where there was 8 different directors with different visions of what they wanted it to be.

Also Benedict Cumberbatch over-acts. He was way over the top in this show.

Rewatching the HBO miniseries John Adams for the third or fourth time. Definitely the best historical-drama ever. So well done and Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney are perfection.

Also a fan of the show. But I'm even more critical of the latest season. Not just the weakest, it just wasn't very good at all IMO. One of the problems is that most of the interesting characters (and actors) are gone.

Like wtf are talking about here? Now I have to go around googling and figuring it out when you could have typed 4 letters? GMG.
I don't mind googling as you can always find where it is, but I find the condemnation of "bahahaha never heard of google, idiot!" kind of dumb, too. There's no expectation, it's fine, but it's just a nice curtesy as you obviously know where you watched it, if you're posting about it (unless you're pirating of course). Americans aside.

I just view it kind of like local restaurants. "We tried X in Mahogany and it was awesome" Sweet, that's in my area, this is relevant to me, I'll explore this further. Some of us only check up on these threads periodically and go through a bunch of pages to find something to watch on the 2 or 3 services we have. Just a bit of a chore googling every 4 or 5 posts to see if a new show is on something we have, when it would have been 6-10 more keystrokes for the poster, that's all.
