'negative heat'

What does that mean?

It's kinda confusing since it's a face vs face match, with a heel manager. Who is the crowd supposed to root for? Basically the top two baby faces in the company fighting over the title. If Tony had been patient and booked it properly down the road it would have been more opportune. Now it just feels random and out of place.

I've actually seen some people turning on Ospreay in AEW. Kinda surprising in a sense, yet he's basically being booked in "God mode" right now. Pushing him into the world title picture so soon feels out of place. I'm shocked they didn't wait till the big show in Wembley.

Clash at the Castle is heel vs heel, but Drew will will obviously have the home crowd behind him on the day of the show.

Ozy you made a good point of everything thing being a matter of taste. So maybe it's only not to my taste.

That said, It means that while watching the build, it ruined my enthuiasm for the match.

"You're lucky we're friends or I'd never let you hold my belt"

What the hell kind of parting words are those?

Why would I care who wins? Where is the emotional hook?

That's your interpretation of dialogue. That's not 'negative heat', which I am assuming you mean the crowd is giving them 'go away' heat?

Ok, if you call that 'negative heat' then you do you. I've never heard the term 'heat' used for 'lost interest' before.

Based on early reactions in Scotland, we should expect another raucous crowd tomorrow. They may never do PLEs in America again! The international fans are wild.

Loved the main event. Another great show. A few hiccups here or there, but a fun show indeed. Punk was lucky to find a few fans in the crowd, I think 90% of the crowd wanted him dead after he screwed over Drew (yet again). Priest selling the ankle the entire match really added to it. I hope he's not legit hurt, but he sold it well.

I wonder if they're slowly going to have Punk turn heel? It makes sense with how this feud is being booked.

Punk is a better Heel than a baby face.

There are certain workers that are just natural heels, like Randy Orton and Punk, though Punk can be a very good face.

Its harder to find natural faces, and funnily enough they are usually the biggest aholes in real life.

Ricochet officially done, there was some thought that they would use him before his contract expired, but he's going to sit at home, and likely sign with AEW. I don't think its a huge loss for WWE, but could be a good gain if AEW figures out how to use him right.

Also some form of debut of the new Uncle Howdy faction tonight. Part of me was hoping that they would just let this gimmick go away. I mean the last appearances with Bray and Uncle Howdy were really silly.

And Bo Dallas is not the promo person that Bray was, and that's what's needed for this to work.
