The Canadian open broadcast is doing about 4 shots between commercials. I'm almost out, even though I'm enjoying the round. Just brutal.

That missed putt by hughes hurt. And now in danger of missing the final pairing.

Interesting situation with CT Pan's caddie getting hurt and now a random fan is taking over the duties on the bag. I've never seen that before and it must be brutal for both the golfer and fan. It would be cool to be in the course in that capacity as a fan but at the same time it would be overwhelming especially with the rain, umbrellas, towels, etc.

Edit: and it looks like the fan has been replaced by a real caddie (I'm guessing it is someone that has finished their round earlier today.)

Speaking of caddies.

Happy for MacIntyre. Seems like a nice guy.

Must be special to get your first PGA win with your old man on the bag as an emergency replacement.

Interesting, I heard the commentary a few times during the broadcast about how MacIntyre was feeling a bit home sick and missing family and how he brought his dad out to work the bag but I assumed it was mostly a planned move and not a last minute, emergency type of situation.

Lexi Thompson is retiring from the LPGA after this season, partially for mental health reasons. She is only 29.

Conners in 3rd too...he has been playing well.

He also strikes me as a guy that has the mental fortitude for the game that a lot of guys dont. In that, I dont think he folds under pressure as much as others.

Cheerin for both of them though....the Memorial is a big deal on the tour.

I was just thinking that today. Aside from Pebble, I was trying to think what my fave non major, non playoff course was.

I think it's Muirfield or Riviera.
