Canada opening a cricket world cup in Texas is not a phase I ever expected to type.

194 runs! That’s awesome go Canada! Hope they can pull this off as I don’t like their chances to win any other games vs Ireland, India, and Pakistan.


Damn USA wins with 14 balls to spare. Thought Canada had a great chance after 10 overs but then everything started to go wrong. A horror 33 run 13th over completely changed the game.

Pakistan is the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde team. There ain't no other team in any sport that is capable of beating the best and losing to the minnows in the same tourney.

Canada put up 35 more runs than Pakistan did against the Americans on the same pitch.

Looked like a fun game. The USA got off to a great start in the run chase, before almost blowing things, but then recovering on the final over with a 4 to tie on the last ball. Then they dominated the super over.

Canada vs Ireland tomorrow. Was going to say this is Canada's next best chance for an upset but they still have Pakistan to go.

Huge choke by Pakistan only needing a run a ball for like the last 6 overs. Heard this was the lowest ever score India had successfully defended.

Canada vs India abandoned due to weather. Every game in Miami was rained out.

As a baseball fan I still don’t get why cricket matches are so easily canceled. Play all night or schedule some reserve days to ensure a result.

Australia eliminated after Afghanistan beats Bangladesh. The dream of holding all three cricket world cups at once is over. Semis are India vs England and South Africa vs Afghanistan.
