We need a 3rd set as Samsonova takes set 2 6-3. Also, Gaby Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe teamed up to win the doubles crown at the Nottingham Open which is great to see.

It's a shame Bianca couldn't get the win on her 24th birthday, but still a great week making the final. Samsonova is in the top 20 and squeaked by Bianca 4-6 6-3 7-5 so it really shows that Bianca is back and ready to compete with the top players as long as she can stay healthy.

wow, feels like Bibi has been with us for too long to have just turned 24. I really hope despite the constant band aids that this means she has plenty of runway left to catch fire at a slam at least a few more times.
