I havent gotten around to that one yet. But his movies are notoriously long and they have lulls in them.
You know who DGAF about long, tender, loving shots of the New York skyline? This guy.

Agreeing with Sliver on a film makes me reconsider my stance but that broken clock can be right sometimes. Killers of the Flower Moon wasn’t good and was a chore to endure

I have been going to all of the extended Lord of the Rings in the theater over the last couple months. Try sitting through the Return of the King for 4 hours straight!

Really? I thought it was a boring slog. I couldn't wait for it to end. It did absolutely nothing for me.

Objectively correct!
But, it's the best Shark-Under-Paris movie ever made, the production values are surprisingly good, and if you are ever in the mood for a dumb movie with an over the top ending and characters you don't have cheer for, it is 11/10. all day long

Watched it for the first time yesterday. Yep, it's a tear jerker for sure, and one of the best wrestling movies I've ever seen.
Just imagine if they hadn't left Chris' story out...

Watched the 90s thriller The Fugitive for the first time, I thought it was amazing. Such a tense cat and mouse thriller with both Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones giving amazing performances, and of course that iconic jump from the damn was so intense . If you're wanting to watch a great movie give this one a watch.

It kind of explains a little bit.
Grew up watching crap ergo thinking it was good and then all of a sudden starts watching actually good films.

Took my kid to IF. Most impressive was the short runtime which was highly refreshing. Movie is pretty good too but definitely more for kids.
As an aside, what the hell has happened to Shawnessy movie theatre? They’ve just totally given up now? I assume they do have brooms / cleaning supplies in the building don’t they? I was the one who had to go turn off the lights in the theatre before the movie started… just awful. You’re charging me $65 to see a movie for 2 with a couple snacks (not even big ones), like figure it out. It was disgusting in there. How can Canyon Meadows survive at $5/ticket or whatever and you guys can’t be bothered to vacuum once a month.

I watched that on the plane recently. Holy #### is that a depressing movie. It felt like they made some stuff up to make it sadder. Looked it up after and…nope. ####ing brutal.
