Well, there was the fairly cliche "my parents won't accept who I really am" storyline with Lev. I wouldn't necessarily say it was forced on anyone, but it certainly felt forced in the sense of being poor storytelling, like its purpose wasn't to improve the overall game story so much as to impart a moral lesson, really hamfistedly.
