Don't get me wrong, I like Starship Troopers, but a major reason it was panned wasn't because people didn't get the satire, it's because the movie forgets it's satire about 2/3rds of the way through (coincidentally when the movie goes from "awesome" to "mediocre") and morphs into the jingoist pap it's was originally skewing.

Freddy Got Fingered however is a treasure and Green maintains true to his vision throughout the entire film.
