Buyout cost
Monahan = two years at a cap hit of $2,375,000 then $2,000,000
Lucic = two years at a cap hit of $4,666,667 then $291,667
Backlund = four years at a cap hit of $1,783,333
imo the Monahan buyout is very reasonable, but Both Lucic and Backlund are better value if they play ( assuming a trade is not possible).
