Yes. This really hit home near the end...

In the fight between Joe and Luv towards the end when he's trying to get Deckard back as they're in the flooding tunnel. To that point, my biggest gripe was how over the top "bad guy" they'd made Luv. With her malevolent speech while killing Robin Wright (I forget her character's name), and her cheesy, smarmy mocking of Joe after killing Joi, it was like, "okay, I get it, we're supposed to hate her".
And then she stabs Joe, and starts walking away, and like a child, says "I'm the best one". And all of a sudden you can't help but feel sorry for this shell of a person, who despite being powerful and deadly, really isn't any more than a lapdog. Her whole self-worth is based on the approval Wallace gives her as a useful tool. She's just so proud of being the best slave. It's tragic.
