This really isn't surprising or offending. The prospect pool is very light as most of the Flames top prospects have graduated already.
Its the typical circle that happens. When a team is competitive they mortgage there future (trading picks and prospects). In 5 years this list will be much different.
Rangers probably have the top prospect pool right now. After they play 25 games (Pronman's games played criteria) this year take a look at there prospects and its a substantial drop.
