Also one more thing. Don't forget it took Ryan until like January to really come into his own last year. He was not great at all for the first few months and was straight-up bad at points. He had like 4 points in his first 25 games. Took him a while to adjust before he finally found a good line. Think he was even taken off special teams for a while there. Wouldn't be surprised if his early struggles deleteriously impacted his chance allowance on the PK. Don't have the stats on-hand right now but I wouldn't be surprised if his pk metrics vastly improved in the new year once he got acclimated to the new team. And then those better numbers continued as the new normal into this year.
