I'm a big fan of peated whiskeys, but Ardberg is one I just don't find very palatable. Just more of a metallic taste in their product. It's also the only whiskey that stings after the first 2 sips. I find it takes almost 2 full pours before I don't notice that sting anymore.

I tried the Lohin McKinnon a couple years ago. It’s a Canadian single malt peated whiskey made by Central City brewing in Vancouver.
Highly recommend.
