I saw the tweet and what was said on reddit, and I think there may be something there. But before this turns into an argument about source credibility I think there is definitely some truth to the sentiment if Neal decided to be a leader for the guys and say something.
If smith was doing the same "WE played poorly on those goals" thing that he has been doing all season and refusing to shoulder the blame himself then I think Neal is right to go after him and I would hope that there is strong enough bond between teammates to be able to be honest with each other and tell one another when you aren't pulling weight.
Either way. Smith sucks and has seemed like a petulant child in his post game interviews so far this season
