I'm having the same issues it's been going on nearly 3 weeks flu followed by nasty sinus infection. Finished the antibiotics on Monday but was told they will last up to 7 days fighting.
The plugged ears are the worst part. I have done the sinus rinses as well even though it does say to avoid if you have plugged ears.
I've been considering the ear candling option as well.
