If Leon is unsigned Saturday and McDavid gets done that will certainly be interesting. I can see the Habs, Rangers, Islanders, Flyers among other teams that would be interested in an offer sheet for Drai.
Even if the Oilers are guaranteed to match why not screw them over anyway. They have the best player of the generation and those players tend to win Cups. People are already Calling McDavid-Draisaitl the next Crosby-Malkin. Signing Drai to an 7 year deal at $9M per would be really tough for the Oilers to match.
