Started re-watching TNG, which I've done several times. Even seasons 1 and 2. Season 1 truly is terrible, but I like to watch it because so many seeds were planted for later seaons like Q, Worf's journey, Crusher/Picard. Also, in the first holodeck episode, Picard brings the Enterprise's "FIction Expert" onto the holodeck. I guess when you don't get paid, you can get any job you want...

Yeah, it kind of reminds me of that part of 'Office Space' where, 'what would you do if you had a million dollars?'
That kind of thing, if money didnt matter what would you do? And I think they vastly over-estimate humanity's Goodwill and desire for exploration.
I'd probably do something useless too.
