These things suck. The people responsible for the violations are gone for the most part and those that suffer are current players and fans. Who had nothing to do with it.
I would love to see a penalty system for sports in general where the guilty are punished in a way that doesn’t penalize the innocent. I don’t really have an answer other than harsh financial penalties.
