I was wondering how Bernard can steal away this prominent host and interview her without anyone bothering him about it, but if all he's doing is a remote chat, it makes a lot more sense.

So I remembered this comment and thought it was interesting.
The conversations with Arnold in the early episodes might actually be Delores dreaming and talking to her emerging consciousness. Though some of them had specific park park actions in them. And some were with Robot Bernard.
