Lol what? What is this based on? What he said about getting off the ice if Tkachuk was on at the all star game or trash talking between benches with other teams? He never says anything over the line. It's sports, the Flames are his biggest rival. It's a part of sport.

In terms of the award, I think it's a 2 horse race between him and MacKinnon. Panarin will get 3rd. RNH and Yamamoto went on a tear in the 2nd half of the season because of Drasiaitl's play. He was on his own line. He plays on the powerplay with McDavid and both of those guys were the reasons the PP was #1 in the NHL. He was -7 on the year but I believe he was on the ice for at least 9 or 10 empty net goals against which skew the stats.

But hey, I thought he was only good because of McDavid right?
