On your first call- make sure you are speaking to Retentions.
Threaten to cancel, going to Wind, Bell whatever. If they don`t give you anything good, cancel. You have 30 days to revert the cancellation.
A few days later, call back. Ask how to port your number. At this moment in time it is likely the rep will give it one last shot to keep you a customer
