Tavares Indeed Sent Packing
As rumoured Carolina Hurricanes have parted ways with star centerman after a disagreement with managements offseason moves. Both Mark Giordano and Tavares have been traded this afternoon.
Word is that the two key pieces of the 'Canes core have been traded to offseasons busiest team the New Your Islanders. No word is planned to be released about who the 'Canes have acquired till GM Hanna has contacted players involved but it's believed to be Corry Perry and Duncan Kieth but has yet to be confirmed by Hurricanes or league sources but Islander insiders are celebrating
