Actually, I'm doing this because heart issues run rampant in my family and I know that vegetarian diets help reduce the risk. I'd prefer to not die at 45-50, so I'm trying to take some preventative measures instead.
I recently watched Sanjay Gupta's report with Bill Clinton and they were saying that removing dairy and meat from the diet can vastly improve your heart health, and reduce the risk of heart attacks to virtually 0 even with a family history. So I figure it's worth it for me to give it a shot.
