When my family moved here from Ontario in 1980 we spent 3 days on a train out here and that was the station that we arrived at.
The theater at North Hill Mall was at one time the biggest screen in the city (besides drive-ins of course)
How about the Palace Theater downtown where Flames Central is now. I remember seeing a doubleheader of Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back there.
