Yeah I think that's a fair point, taking a broader view it's a trend I've noticed in other Netflix original this year as well. They're a very data driven organization, so I'm sure they're trying to keep a lot of different demographics hooked, and as a result the shows end up pretty stuffed.

The Miley Cyrus episode of Black Mirror was probably the single worst offender in this regard, they tried to cram so many different themes into one story that none of it really got the attention it deserved.
