He's Japanese - he'll pick one thing to be really good at, and then focus on it for the rest of his life to be the best at it.
I've spent enough time there to know that's how they operate. I met gate engineers whose sole purpose in life is to engineer the best possible gates in the world. That's all they were committed to.
