I mean the demographic thing has been brought up for going on twenty years now but the recent appeal to anti government and hyper partisanship has really eliminated a lot of the expected slide. Long long term, who knows. But there's a lot of economically stagnant or backsliding white people in that country and the Republicans seem to have them.
