"Lo siento yo no hablo espaņol" is a good Spanish phrase to learn. It means "I'm sorry, I don't speak Spanish". With translation available on your phone these days it may no longer be as useful as it used to be.
You also should look into to grabbing an eSIM which will give you relatively inexpensive wifi while you're away. You can get them for countries you expect to be in for awhile.
