I loved Kariya and that goal after the hit is still one of the greatest Stanley Cup moments ever. Very sad he can't remember it.
Why is Stevens' legacy tarnished though? He played the game as per the rules at the time.

Instead of talking about Stevens and a slightly late hit that was deemed legal, the real villain of Kariya's career was Suter. Such a dirty cheap shot and the 4 game suspension was pathetically weak.
