I really hope this starts sooner than later, but I have a big feeling that it's going to take a couple of years for this transition to change. In the past couple of months, I've been approached twice to build flash web sites and each time I've laid solid and concise reasons why it's bad for a person's business and how a flash site will do more harm than good.

But tach time, I've been met with extreme resistance.

Web design and development is still a mythical industry for a majority of the population and although you can explain the problems with mobile devices, the issues with SEO and Content Management, at the end of the day people still want the spiny globe with lighting and unicorns popping out from it.
