I’m done with Smith and Peters better be as well. They guy just doesn’t have it anymore. He not an NHL goaltender, let alone a starter. 2 just horrendous goals against. We have been extremely fortunate with the OOT’s so far this year that Smith’s abysmal play hasn’t kicked us out of a playoff spot ... yet. If Smith starts more than 1 out of every 5 or 6 games going forward, I’ll really start to judge Peters decision making. Why is a goaltender with 1.91 GAA and .935 Sv% sitting on the bench? If Treliving had some real cajones he’d waive Smith and acquire a decent backup. God, it’s so frustrating, we’d be leading the division easily if Smith had been merely average up to now. He is the worst “starter” in the league by a country mile. Get this guy off the team.
