Did the Baie St Marie Gran Fondo in Nova Scotia today. First road riding event ever, and had an awesome time. The route was beautiful, along the ocean in several spots, and the community did a fantastic job of hosting. Tons of locals out cheering on all the racers, and excellent Lobster dinner after the ride. I’d definitely recommend it, and we will probably be back out here next year.
I rented a bike, and rode a very nice full carbon Opus. Now I guess my road bike buying for next season will probably go into the next price range of a carbon bike....
