A general statement….how do the players know what is and isn’t a penalty in this NHL anymore? Early season - every cross check called. Now back to normal where a guy eats 4 or 5 cross checks along the board on a pick battle. Lots of holding again and no calls. Every game seems to be different. It shouldn’t be that hard to call the rules and make it at least 80% consistent. Now it seems it’s 50/50 if it will be called or not.
As for the Flames it is clear we need secondary scoring threats and a faster moving PP. love the Kucherov and Stamkos one-timer threats. Dangerous!! But we seem so slow and weak on the PP.
