Anyone happen to have experience with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 and/or Pilot Sport A/S tires?

I'm currently looking to get some new tires for my car and it's been a while so am a bit out of the loop. This is not a daily driver, and all driving will be done during the summer/fall in typically nicer weather…however would prefer something that won’t completely turn to plastic in case a trip to the mountains results in some sketchy Alberta weather. I lean towards the AS for the just-in-case factor, but not sure if there is much performance degradation if the weather is fine (which will be 95% of driving). Also I probably won't get more than 1000kms on it per year, so tread life is less important than typical as chances are it will get old before it gets worn down.
