In Finnish it's just "Swedish people's party", so a really direct translation.
Finland has a 5% Swedish speaking minority (it's the second official language), but they're mostly not Swedish in the national sense. We generally don't think of them as a separate ethnic group, even though technically they are.
So it's mostly language voting block, but it's not a 1 for 1 match. Not all Swedish speakers vote for them, and they get votes from liberals, plus I think coastal farmers and fishermen. As a party they're strongly liberal and very flexible right wingers.
